# Is deposit fee compromised

**FEE CHANGE IS BEHIND THE TIMELOCK CONTRACT**

Our system requires users to deposit a fee when staking, therefore it is possible for the Chef to edit the deposit fee to 100%, therefore taking 100% of NEW USER STAKING.  

Procedure to check:

1. Please head to our master chef [contract](https://explorer-mainnet.maticvigil.com/address/0x2a6615238a161fABA3dC9a508f08c4320BE1a193/read-contract)
2. Scroll down to "10. poolInfo"
3. Enter pool ID that you want to check ***`from 0 to 12`*** 
4. Click on "Query"
5. Check the deposit fee is correct ***`0 = 0%, 400 = 4%, 10000 = 100%`***
